Jim Corbett National Park has captured the imagination of many with its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.Exploring Corbett national park is exiting experience and Jip safari drive is amazing experience.To see the best of nature one has to explore it early morning when most of the animals come for out for drinking water near river, chirping of birds felt in fresh morning.You will easily find floks of deer wandering any time on your way which makes feel amazed.Jeep goes through rough treks of jungle which like roller coster.There are number of class resorts and hotel situated around the area which provide jeep safary and other adventure activities too like rock climbing, rapling etc .Park lies in two districts – Nainital and Pauri. Most famous of Corbett’s wild residents are the Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant, but with about 600 species of fauna Corbett is one of the richest bird regions of India.Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment.It contains 488 different species of plants and a diverse variety of fauna.Presently,It houses around 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species.Main animals deer, sambar,barking deer, hog deer and chital, Sloth barking and Himalayan black bears, Indian grey mongoose, Himalayan goral, Indian pangolins.otters, yellow-throated martens.
Dhikuli : is a well-known destination in the park and situated at the fringes of Patli Dun valley. There is a rest house, which was built hundred of years ago. Kanda ridge forms the backdrop, and from Dhikala, one can enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of the valley.
Jeep Safari is the most convenient way to travel within the national park; jeeps can be rented for park trips from Ramnagar.
Elephant Safari is also avilable from Dhikala.
Kalagarh Dam This is one of the best places for a bird watching tour.This dam located in the south-west of the wildlife sanctuary. Lots of migratory birds like waterfowl comes here in the winters.
Corbett Falls is a beautiful 20 m (66 ft) water fall situated in the dense forest at the sernity of the nature .It is just 25 km from Ramnagar, and 4 km from Kaladhungi, on the Kaladhungi–Ramnagar highway.
